1. Scope of this policy

This Seller Privacy Policy explains how Kipgra Ventures Private Limited ("Miogra", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares personal and business information when sellers, vendors, merchants, their owners, authorised representatives, and staff use the Miogra Seller application, website, onboarding services, and related seller services.

By applying to become a seller or using our seller services, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy. This policy should be read together with the applicable seller agreement and platform terms.

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information directly from you, from your use of the platform, or from authorised service providers:

  • Identity and contact details, including name, business name, phone number, email address, photograph, and authorised representative details.

  • Banking and settlement details, including account holder name, bank account number, IFSC, cancelled cheque, payout status, and settlement records.
  • Store and catalogue information, including outlet details, product listings, prices, stock, operating hours, licences, images, and fulfilment preferences.
  • Order and transaction information, including order history, invoices, cancellations, refunds, commissions, fees, settlements, and customer-service records.
  • Device, technical, and usage information, including IP address, device identifiers, operating system, app version, logs, approximate location, and interactions with seller services.
  • Communications and support information, including enquiries, calls, emails, feedback, complaints, and records of assistance provided to you.

3. How we use seller information

We use seller information where necessary to operate the platform, fulfil our contractual obligations, comply with law, protect legitimate business interests, or act with your consent. These purposes include:

  • Creating, verifying, maintaining, and securing seller accounts.
  • Reviewing eligibility, licences, KYC documents, and business credentials.
  • Publishing store and product information to customers and processing orders.
  • Facilitating payments, refunds, settlements, accounting, invoices, and tax reporting.
  • Providing delivery coordination, seller support, operational alerts, and service communications.
  • Preventing fraud, abuse, unauthorised access, chargebacks, and other security incidents.
  • Analysing platform performance and improving seller tools, features, and service quality.
  • Complying with legal obligations, regulatory requests, dispute-resolution duties, and enforcement of our agreements.
  • Sending promotional messages where permitted by law and according to your communication preferences.

4. Payments, KYC, and Cashfree

Miogra may use regulated payment partners, including Cashfree Payments, to facilitate payment collection, seller verification, settlements, refunds, and fraud prevention. Information required to provide these services may be shared securely with the relevant payment partner and processed under that partner’s privacy policy and applicable terms.

Payment partners may independently request identity, business, banking, or compliance information. Miogra does not store complete card numbers, CVV values, UPI PINs, or internet-banking passwords. Sellers should never share such credentials with Miogra representatives.

5. When we share information

We do not sell seller personal information. We may share only the information reasonably required with:

  • Customers, where needed to identify the store, fulfil an order, issue an invoice, or provide support.
  • Delivery partners and operational providers involved in order fulfilment.
  • Payment gateways, banks, payout providers, identity-verification providers, and fraud-prevention partners.
  • Cloud hosting, analytics, communications, customer-support, audit, accounting, legal, and technology providers acting for us under appropriate safeguards.
  • Government authorities, courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies, or other parties where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and platform integrity.
  • A successor or relevant counterparty in connection with a merger, financing, restructuring, acquisition, or transfer of business, subject to applicable safeguards.

6. Data retention

We retain seller information for as long as the seller account is active and thereafter for the period reasonably required to complete settlements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, maintain financial and tax records, and meet legal or regulatory obligations. Retention periods vary according to the type of record and applicable requirements.

When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete, anonymise, or securely isolate it, unless continued retention is required by law.

7. Security safeguards

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These measures may include access controls, encryption in transit, monitoring, backups, and restricted access based on business need.

No electronic system is completely secure. Sellers are responsible for protecting their login credentials, using secure devices, and notifying us promptly about suspected unauthorised access.

8. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law and verification of your request, you may ask us to:

  • Provide information about the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Delete information that is no longer required, where no legal or contractual exception applies.

  • Stop promotional communications while continuing to receive essential service and transaction messages.

Our website and seller services may use cookies, software development kits, and similar technologies to keep sessions secure, remember preferences, understand usage, diagnose errors, and improve performance. You can control browser cookies through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may affect service functionality.

10. Third-party services and links

Seller services may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, applications, payment services, or logistics services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. We encourage sellers to review those notices before providing information directly to a third party.

11. Seller eligibility and minors

Miogra seller services are intended for businesses and individuals legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. They are not directed to children. If we learn that information was submitted by a minor without lawful authorisation, we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

12. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, technology, legal obligations, or business practices. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice through the seller application, email, or another appropriate channel.
